My favourite Author Kazi Nazrul Islam
My favorite author is Nazrul Islam, a celebrated Bengali poet, musician, and freedom fighter.
Born on May 25, 1899, in Churulia, Bengal, under the British Raj, Nazrul Islam was deeply influenced by the social and political events of his time.
His parents, Kazi Faqeer Ahmed and Zahida Khatun, played a significant role in shaping his early life. Despite facing financial struggles, Nazrul showed exceptional talent from a young age.
His academic journey included studies at the Searsole Raj High School in Raniganj. However, his true passion lay in literature and music. Nazrul Islam's unique style and use of simple language in works like "Bidrohi" and "Agnibina" make his writings accessible and enjoyable for readers like me. His poems and songs inspire me with their powerful messages of love, freedom, and social justice. I find comfort and wisdom in his words, and his literary contributions, coupled with his commitment to social justice, have left a lasting impact on my understanding of literature and life.
