Celebration at My School:
Independence Day is a grand affair at our school, and preparations commence as early as the 14th of August. On the morning of the 15th, students are requested to wear white attire and assemble by 8:00 a.m. The day begins with the school choir singing the National Anthem, followed by the flag-hoisting ceremony conducted by a distinguished guest. Our Principal delivers speeches highlighting the significance of this historic day, emphasizing the sacrifices made for our freedom.
Once the flag is raised, and speeches are concluded, sweets are distributed among students and teachers as a gesture of unity. Various games and activities are organized, fostering participation and offering opportunities to win prizes.
Independence Day at our school is a break from regular classes, concluding by noon. It serves as a source of both enjoyment and pride for us students, as we commemorate this important day.
Conclusion:
In conclusion, Independence Day is celebrated with deep pride, honor, and respect for the brave freedom fighters and patriots who sacrificed their lives to secure India's liberty, thereby making our country a better place to live.
